Keeping children's teeth happy and healthy.
It’s really important that babies are seen by the dentist, at the latest, by the age of one.
Whilst you think that no teeth means they don’t have to go, it’s crucial to visit the dentist to get oral hygiene and dietary advice which will help your baby’s teeth as they start to come through.
We understand it can be intimidating, especially if you feel nervous visiting the dentist yourself. Starting to make regular visits from a young age lets your child know there’s nothing to worry about.
We focus on making it a relaxing experience for you both. Your dentist will get your child used to their dental practice, sitting in the dentist’s chair and opening wide for a quick examination. We believe that getting to know their dentist is the first step to success with their lifelong oral health journey.
We’ll speak to you about the best ways to care for your child’s teeth. From brushing their teeth twice a day, to a balanced diet (not too many sweets!) and regular check-ups, our dentists will speak to you about the best ways to care for your children’s teeth.
Starting out with regular check-ups is a great way to make sure your children see trips to the dentist as routine and part of caring for their smile throughout their lives. It ensures that any small problems can be caught before they become bigger problems.
We also offer preventative treatments, such as fluoride varnish. This is offered every six months to children from 3 to 17 years old. The dentist will discuss these with you at the appointment.
